Digital tachographs are the newest type of tachograph that store data digitally, that is, data is stored on the printer itself and not on a chart disc. We can supply Stoneridge digital tachographs for all types of trucks, including smart tachographs.
The Stoneridge Exact Duo2 1B tachograph from Stoneridge comes with a number of useful features, including:
• One minute rule which gives you an average of 45 minutes extra driving time per day.
• Information about driving and resting in real time.
• Information about remaining work and rest in the display.
• Calculation of working hours, ferry or train in the display.
The one minute rule allows you to move the car for 29 seconds without this affecting driving and rest time. Stoneridge Exact Duo2 can also be easily programmed by Optimo for most types of trucks.

What is a smart tachograph?
Annex 1C (EU 2016/799) smart tachograph legislation was introduced on 15 June 2019. This legislation is designed to reduce the risk of tachograph tampering, improve efficiency and reduce the administrative burden on hauliers.
Smart tachographs have a GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) receiver to record the position of your vehicle when you confirm the start and end of the working day, as well as every third driving time
